A tutorial on the Worship song “paschal mystery.”
Copyright 2005, Michael James Mette

The song is about the central mystery of our faith - the paschal mystery. Truly, nothing in Jesus’ life makes sense without it, but it sill remains a mystery to us. Feel free to leave comments with your thoughts on the song.
peace,

5th Sunday of Easter - Year C

Sunday, May 6th, 2007

As we continue the Easter Season, a great response is “This is the Day” (CCLI# 4956729). In today’s Gospel from John, Jesus instructs his disciples to ‘love one another.’ This reading takes place in the context of the Last Supper, therefore, a good song for Communion would be “As I have done for You” (CCLI# 4956808) based on today’s text.
Also, in Revelation, we hear that Jesus makes all things anew (Rev 21:5). The song “All things Anew” (CCLI# 4956729) would work well as a sending forth song.
