Sunday, July 15th, 2007

The song “for the body” (CCLI # 4956860) would work well as a preparation song or as a communion song.

14th Sunday in Ordinary Time - Year C

Sunday, July 8th, 2007

With the theme of suffering for the sake of the Gospel this week, the songs “You redeemed us” (CCLI # 4957371) and “for the greater glory” (CCLI # 4956877) would work well as a preparation song. In the second reading today, St. Paul speaks the only thing that matters is being “a new creation.” The song “all things anew“(CCLI # 4956729) would work well as a closing song.

13th Sunday in Ordinary Time - Year C

Sunday, July 1st, 2007

This Sunday, the readings speak about the kingdom of God. St. Paul’s epistle talks about morality and the Eucharist. “for the body” (CCLI Song No. 4956860) would work well as a preparation or communion song combining both of those elements. Also, St. Paul’s epistle talks about not being consumed by another. The song “consume my heart” (CCLI Song No. 4956839) is an excellent choice for this Sunday as a communion song.
