A prayer about being honest before God, stripping away all of the masks and heirs we put on for others.
Hey everyone! I’ll be playing my first gig of completely original stuff this Saturday at Jericho Coffee in Roseville, CA If you’re in the area, please stop by and check it out!
A tutorial on the Worship song “all things anew.”

I never really understood the line ‘You give and take away…’ from “Blessed Be Your Name” by Matt Redman, until I experienced it. This song comes from a similar place. God is like a gardener, we grow, then he prunes us back, and replants the starts so that we can grow more. Even in what seems like loss, God can make things anew. Just look at the cross.
Here’s a link to Vineyard Music’s website. There, you can check out the CD / DVD for “Sweetly Broken” I talked about in the video. If you want to learn about using Ableton Live in a worship setting, the DVD is definitely worth the price of admission. Robbie Reider walks through step-by-step in showing how to set up Ableton Live. About $20.
Here’s a link to download a free demo of Ableton Live v6.0. Check it out, but be forewarned, this can easily suck hours from your day! Enjoy when you have some free time to mess around. There are also several tutorials to give you a good feel for what the software can do. www.ableton.com
Lastly, here is a website I didn’t mention in the video, but I think it’s really cool. www.sacredloops.org It’s a site devoted to sharing song files for loop programs like ableton. People upload their creations, then others can use them for the glory of God! How cool is that?
